Faqs
What is The Foundation at Mountain Pacific?
The Foundation at Mountain Pacific is Mountain Pacific’s philanthropic arm. We are dedicated to investing in community health and well-being, especially in areas where gaps in support, initiatives, funding or other resources exist. Through charitable support, partnerships and strategic investments, we work to strengthen healthcare access, quality and equity across communities.
Why was The Foundation at Mountain Pacific created?
The Foundation was created to combine philanthropic investments with MountainPacific’s expertise, trusted relationships and proven track record. With this combination, we can launch new ideas or approaches, strengthen community-based support and invest in approaches that improve lives where traditional funding falls short.
Who does The Foundation serve?
The Foundation serves communities by investing in organizations, partnerships and initiatives that improve health and well-being. We support healthcare providers, community-based organizations and partnerships that expand access to care, strengthen community services and improve health outcomes across the regions we serve.
What communities benefit from The Foundation’s work?
The Foundation supports healthcare communities across Montana and the broader region, with a focus on rural and underserved populations. We help fund projects that improve:
- Medication access, safety and chronic condition support.
- Access to care and essential support.
- Whole-person behavioral health and community well-being.
Why establish a separate philanthropic organization?
As a separate nonprofit, The Foundation can respond with more flexibility to changing health needs, building strategic partnerships and supporting new ideas or approaches that complement or extend Mountain Pacific’s work without duplicating it.
How will donations be used?
We strategically direct donations to improve health and well-being across Montana and the broader region. Gifts support innovative programs, community partnerships and initiatives that expand access to care, strengthen community-based services and address emerging health needs. The Foundation awards funding to Mountain Pacific to implement and oversee these initiatives so donations are used responsibly and achieve measurable community impact.
